Mr. Fidelis Duker is a member of the Board of Trustees, representing the Directors Guild of Nigeria.

DGN is an affiliate of the Trust Initiative. Fidelis Duker is a veteran Nigerian filmmaker, media mogul, and film festival organizer. A native of Henshaw Town in Cross River State, he was born in Lagos but raised in Northern Nigeria, completing his secondary education at Federal Government College, Kano. He began his career in 1988 writing dramas for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and has since produced, written, or directed over 100 motion pictures. He is the founder of the Abuja International Film Festival (AIFF) and Founder/CEO of FAD Media Group, which owns FAD 93.1 FM Calabar, FAD FM 101.3 Abuja, and FAD 360 TV.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication from the University of Cross River, an MBA in International Business from Crawford University and has trained at UCLA, the BBC Training Academy, and Deutsche Welle, he is presently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence in the media space. He has served as President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria and is currently Regional Secretary General for West Africa of FEPACI. In May 2026, he declared his candidacy for Nigeria's House of Representatives to represent the good people of Akpabuyo, Bakassi and Calabar South Federal Constituency.
